Long-Term Disability Benefits

How do you see yourself five years from now? Or maybe ten? Chances are, you don’t see yourself injured or sick and unable to work. But a surprising number of people do find themselves hurt or sick and unable to work – even if only for a short time. Imagine! offers employer-paid Long Term Disability Coverage. Examples of common covered claims include:

  • Sprains and Strains
  • Heart Attack
  • Coronary Heart Disease
  • Back Pain
  • Scoliosis
  • Pneumonia
  • Pregnancy Complications
  • Rheumatism
  • Stroke

If you become disabled, there is an elimination period before benefits are payable. If your injury or illness is found to qualify for LTD, your benefits begin 90 days after the onset of your disabling injury or illness. Your benefit is equivalent to 60% of your before-tax monthly earnings, not to exceed the plan’s maximum monthly benefit amount of $6,000.
